Should you buy the M2 Mac Mini? Which configuration should you get? Should you upgrade if you have an M1 version? It’s super rare for a company to give you more while charging you less - but that’s exactly what Apple did with the M2 Mac Mini. They essentially kept all the benefits of the M1 version, they added a more powerful processor and a few other very important upgrades - but there’s still one thing about the new Mac Mini that frustrates me and another thing that I want you to be careful about. ⭐️ Buy the Mac Mini M2: 🤍geni.us/a4AGi (affiliate) ⭐️ Buy the Mac Mini M2 Pro: 🤍geni.us/9vBSPK (affiliate) M2 MAC MINI ACCESSORIES: Keyboard: 🤍geni.us/rb0TmMp (affiliate) Mouse: 🤍geni.us/dxsF7F (affiliate) Monitor - Mine: 🤍geni.us/kvgBm (affiliate) Monitor - affordable: 🤍geni.us/0JUawC (affiliate) #macminim2 #macmini2023 #apple ☕ BUY ME A COFFEE?! 🤍🤍buymeacoffee.com/techgeartalk 🎵 LIKE THE MUSIC I USE? I don't know why Apple has to be so chintzy with the ports. How about 4 in the back and 2 in the front with a front-facing SD and microSD card reader? Without those I have to have hubs all over the place. :/

Here in Australia, the base model M2 Mac Mini retails for A$999 and the base model M2 Pro Mac Mini retails for A$1999. I decided to buy the M2 Pro Mac Mini since I wanted 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage and the price difference after upgrading the base M2 Mac Mini to that configuration wasn't that great so I decided to get the base M2 Pro
In my country there is only 2 options available One is a Intel based one with the core i5 with Just 8 gigabytes of ram and 512 gigabytes of internal storage, the second option is one with the M2 pro version with double the ram and the same amount of internal storage as the other model So i'm basically forced with the M2 Pro if i want a good experience 😭
And if you are wondering wich country i am in it's México.
I live in Brazil and the M2 Mac Mini base model is BRL 7.500, while the Education price is BRL 6.200. Around here the M2 Mac Mini is considered an expensive computer, but designers and professionals who work with photo and video editing prefer the better stability and speed of the MacOS… Some people, like me, also prefer using MacOS for everyday use and for studying…
I just bought the M2 Mac Mini base model for $499 brand new. It's a great computer, and very fast. Perfect for my daily computing needs. 8GB is enough for me.
I have picked up the 16gb M2 Mac mini and using the Apple studio display. Love it
In Chile the price for the basic mac Mini is $720 [+19% iva] is a total of $880 dollars or CLP $700.000
In Japan, my base model cost me ¥84,800 or $648.96.
base model £633 uk
$799 in Canada
I might upgrade the ssd and memory by 1, but the extra cost of the pro i don't need. I mainly want to future proof it as without the extra ssd it can last 4-5 year but by going up to 512 it can last 10 years, then the memory is to have it be able to keep up 10 years later
What if this thing was wireless
Hi All I currently have the below iMac. Would the mac mini be a significant upgrade for me. Mainly leisure use with occasional video editing.
Current iMac 27in, Late 2013
Processor 3.2 GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5
Memory 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Startup Disk Macintosh HD
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M 1GB
Here in New Zealand the m2 Mac mini is 1099 nzd
In Turkey it starts at 785 USD inc tax
Do m2 mac mini work properly with 120 HZ refresh rate monitor
I don't think the lack of ports on the front, and/or lack of an SD card reader, is a problem. I have my (2014) Mac Mini in a vertical stand mounted to the side of my table, and it works very nicely. That vertical stand does have one opening for the read side of the Mac Mini. And on the occasions that I need an SD card reader, I just plug in a USB card reader.
