Transformer l'audio DTS d'un fichier MKV en AC3. Many of the videos I download state Dolby Digital surround sound. However, when trying to play these videos on my home theatre system it would play in stereo sound (front speakers only). After researching online, I discovered that the problem was that the videos I was originally downloading had an AAC audio format, which cannot be played in Dolby Digital surround sound by most of the home theatre receivers on the market. To fix this, one should convert the AAC format to AC3 format. AC3 formats can be played in Dolby Digital surround sounds by most home theatre receivers. STEPS AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO: Step 1) Download FFmpeg from 🤍 Step 2) Extract contents into a folder. I extracted it to a folder I created called 'FFmpegTool' in the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\' folder of my computer. Step 3) Place the video you want to convert in the 'bin' folder of the FFmpegTool folder you created in step 2. Step 4) Run CMD from Windows Start Menu Step 5) In the CMD window, type 'cd\' and press Enter. Step 6) Type 'cd' followed by a space and the file path of the bin folder. Don't include the drive in the file path; only the folders. For example, if the file path of the bin folder on your computer is: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\FFmpegTool\bin' then you must type the following in CMD: 'cd Program Files (x86)\FFmpegTool\bin'. Then press Enter. Step 7) 'ffmpeg -i inputfile -codec copy -acodec ac3 outputfile'. Note that 'inputfile' is the FILE NAME of the video that you want to convert and 'outputfile' is the FILE NAME you want outputted from the conversion. For example, if the file we want to convert is called sampletest.mkv and if we want the output file name to be called sampletest2.mkv, then you must type the following in CMD: 'ffmpeg -i sampletest.mkv -codec copy -acodec ac3 sampletest2.mkv'. Then press Enter. Step 8) The conversion will start. Wait for the conversion process to finish. The output file will appear in the bin folder.
