I spent 50 days in Skyrim Legendary Survival and it was amazing. In todays Skyrim challenge I tried to do something that I've never been brave enough to do before, SURVIVAL LEGENDARY SKYRIM.... But I made it more scary by deciding to donate money to charity for every death, turning it into a kind of hardcore/ permadeath run. No real mods were used in this playthrough. All in all it wasn't too serious and there were plenty of funny moments, can I survive without losing myself along the way? If this video gets 4 likes I'll spend 100 days in Skyrim. If it gets 5 likes I'll spend 100 days in Morrowind. After all, Morrowind might be too easy for a Skyrim player such as myself..

Welcome back to skyrim! Where today we set out on an impossible challenge! Can you beat the survive 100 days in skyrim hardcore challenge? The rules are simple, Legendary difficulty skyrim with survival mode but the added twist that you are not allowed to equip any Armor or weapons. This is the hardest possible challenge skyrim can offer. You are effectively playing at 1 hp and almost anything will kill you and fail the run. Ontop of that in survival mode you must eat and sleep similarly to an indie survival game. You must also balance temperatures which in the cold northern lands of skyrim is rather impossible. So sit back and watch as the spiffing brit tests to see if Skyrim is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits or surviving 100 days of skyrim hardcore is a task that is simply too impossible for this pro exploiter! With its optional World-Eater add-on, this mod also adds a Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom-style open mission to defeat Alduin, with the potential for taking back each ruined city from his Dragon followers and their swarms of Draugr minions first. This mod is compatible with both Skyrim Special Edition and the Anniversary Edition update. I've paired Alternate Skyrim with a bunch of other survival, scavenging, and resource-management mods in an attempt to turn Skyrim into a Roguelike Survival game. This is my first permadeath attempt at defeating Alduin in this post-apocalyptic modded world. Alternate Skyrim is still in development and has an active community working on add-ons for the post-apocalyptic world. The day after I posted this video, a new beta version released and the mod name changed to "Shattered - A Post-Apocalyptic Skyrim". I am continuing my Skyrim playthrough in Legendary difficulty and in Survival Mode. Given the ridiculous nature of this difficulty, and given that my character is extremely weak and vulnerable to 99% of all enemies in the game; my number one priority at this point in the playthrough is to level up as fast as possible and make my character as strong as possible. For that reason, I am doing every single quest I can come across (also given the fact that Fast Travel is DISABLED in Survival Mode). I managed to reach level 45, and I can see a sliver of hope of how my character could feasibly become powerful enough to complete this playthrough. I am focusing on Archery, Sneak, One-Handed and Two-Handed melee. I still need to keep a bunch of followers around me in order no to die with every single enemy encounter though. A new Skyrim playthrough, but this time played how it is meant to be played... at least I think so. I do not know if it is meant to be this difficult, but it is a fun change of pace. The rules are: (1) I must play on Legendary difficulty from the start and at all times; (2) I must play in Survival Mode, which introduces hunger, fatigue, cold and warmth stats into the game, as well as disabling FAST TRAEL and only allowing me to LEVEL UP when I sleep in a bed. I am playing as an Orc. I have been enjoying difficulty solo games of late, and this Skyrim playthrough is right there with the hardest games I have been playing. I am enjoying it. (in text form) Survival Mode for Skyrim has been around for quite a while. Initially as a mod for the base Skyrim that launched around the time of the last global conflict and more recently as a micro transaction for Skyrim: Special Edition. In my lifetime, it was made available for “free” in the Anniversary Edition of the Elder Scroll 5. As the name implies, Survival Mode adds many exciting new features to the game to make surviving out in Skyrim harder. The big three additions are Hunger, Fatigue, and Thermometer. Not eating gradually increases your hunger, which reduces your total stamina, attack speed, and effectiveness of both sneaking and using shields. Fatigue is directly tied to your energy levels, the stamina of your soul, sleeping. Not getting enough sleep lets some of the air out of your inflatable magic pool, makes you more susceptible to disease, and reduces stamina and magic regeneration speed. Potions lose some of their effectiveness as your colon starts to power down from a lack of sleep. The worm needs his nap. Luckily the potions are not a problem for me because I’m not allowed to drink. That leads us to the third aspect: the drinking. I put “Eating Drinking or Sleeping” in the title but there is no H20 meter to keep track of, pour one out for the hydro homies, drinking is not relevant in this video. Up in its place comes thermo-meter. Temperatures range all across the continent, from warm fires to freezing skies atop the throat the world, I will conquer it all in my birthday suit. The real challenge is: Can you beat Skyrim’s survival mode without eating, sleeping or wearing clothes. Now, there’s more to Survival mode than what I’ve mentioned. Just like in Oblivion, in this Skyrim survival mode playthrough you can only level up by sleeping in a bed so this is also the Skyrim at Level 1 challenge. Why do I get the feeling I’ve done that before? Carry weight is reduced a tad. Health doesn’t regenerate by itself over time. Animals out in the wilderness carry infectious diseases like Rockjoint or Brain Rot. Spending a lot of time feeling like sh*t will give you afflictions, you got a 55 on your test but you were in a bad mood when you took it so your teacher knocked it down to 45 to send a message. And, lastly, fast travel is disabled. This sucks. Let’s do it.

Legendary Survival Skyrim is PERFECTLY BALANCED... as all things should be. There is just one thing wrong with it... I thought this playthrough would be ridiculously hard at the beginning, as is the case with most difficult playthroughs; and that it would get more and more balanced as I continued to level up... Boy was I wrong. It feels like the more I level up, the tougher enemies get and the more damage they do. I am now level 60 and I am still getting one shot by most enemies. I think I am going to have to change strategies in order to have a chance to make my character at least a little balanced for this difficulty.
