I f were to buy a new Mac mini M2 and want to control it with the keyboard and mouse of my Macbook Pro i7 as to not buy a dedicated keyboard and trackpad for the mini would that work? I use the Macbook Pro as a desktop connected to an LG 34" Ultrawide. I do like the 2 screen usage.

I accidentally discovered universal control while trying to use sidecar. I love it!
I wish the designated sound output could be shared. I would like to use the iPad for Zoom and Music and my Mac for programming. But then sometimes I want to watch YouTube on my Mac’s browser. But there doesn’t seems to be a way for the sound to be “universal” like the keyboard and mouse.

Great video! I discovered that only one user should be logged into a Mac device in order to use Universal Control. I spent more than 30 minutes playing around trying to figure why it wasn’t working for me. It worked after I logged out of my wife’s user account and only I was logged in.

I did not know I could share keyboard and mouse with more than two devices . Great video! I have a large 2nd display with my laptop which I love, it’s great to know I can throw my iPad in there if I need to😊
